Walking in nature is a great way to stay fit and healthy. Enjoy stunning scenery, breathe in fresh air and, if you are lucky, see the local wildlife. Park Walks are free, don't require any equipment beyond comfortable walking shoes and they're suitable for all ages. Through our discovery tours you can also learn in detail from trained volunteer guides about the heritage and natural features of a site.
.
Park Walks are group walks led by one of Parks Victoria's trained Volunteer Park Walk Leaders that suit a range of different walking styles. Parks Victoria is committed to supporting the community to receive the health benefits of getting active in parks.
Our friendly volunteers lead:
- Park Walks - regular walks that can be incorporated into your health and wellbeing routine.
- Mindfulness Walks - enjoy a relaxing guided walk through beautiful bushland, using the concept of mindfulness.
